Johnny Solis was part of the Original Silver Creek Band which was formed in 1984 under it's band leader Steve Lopez, Steve who had his group Steve Lopez & The Sabor Latino Band which was a Latin based Top-40 Group In which Johnny also got to play in was breaking up in 1984 In which Steve decided to go the Country Route. Asked Johnny and his Original Bass player Fred Murrieta to be part of the Band, He had become good friends with Orson (CHIEF) William's and discovered what a fine Talent he had to play Guitar and Steel Guitar and thus the Silver Creek Band was formed.
